Despite the different image symbols, it doesn't compromise the legitimacy, but rather contains the meaning more properly. Intuitively interpreted images make the original meaning more relatable. This card, which is harmonized with animal traits, is incredible. And the spread... It's a bit of a overlap or a bit of a vague idea about Oracle. And the spread... It's really unfortunate, but it's great that the card itself is made of a very protective material. The more you look at the image, the better the meaning of this card is. I think it's a card for both beginners and skilled people, and it's one that you should always play with. I think it's a card that's worth keeping and playing with, and it's the best card I've ever encountered, even though it doesn't publicize all the cards.

I'm usually not a huge fan of animal centered decks, but this one can definitely act as a replacement for a standard Rider Waite deck with no problems whatsoever - all while being gorgeous too! The imagery is very familiar, so it's beginner friendly, but knowing a little bit about the animals themselves can add depth/complexity to your readings. The Oracle deck also is nifty for adding additional meaning to your readings, although some do overlap with cards of major arcana imo. As for the card stock: the listing says its 350gsm in thickness but it feels more like 400gsm - very similar to the Moonchild Tarot in feel. Very luxurious, but the cards do stick for the first few shuffles. Overall, I highly recommend this deck if it calls to you!

Exquisitely produced deck with creator signed card included. Robust, yet sumptuous--though I second the "sticky" comment--card stock. Clever, subtle, and sometimes hilarious designs are the only ways I've ever been able to handle the RWS tarot; this one has all three aspects, plus enough clarity with nuanced restraint regarding the subject presentation and color palette. (If you want ultra-loaded, crazy potent visuals, with multilayered, interwoven artistic and cerebral complexity with tremendous gravitas and breadth, there's always AC's Thoth or Haindl.) "Into the Wild" (ITW) wasn't bought on a whim, but viewed as a worthwhile, Collector's grade RWS since it has the accompanying Oracle. One mild criticism about the ITW Oracle is that it missed a prime opportunity to drill down with more intricate or unique nomenclature to make it more of a standalone deck; instead, it's a structurally thematic companion to the RWS, but has evocative enough artwork that one could use as an auxiliary clarifier, or perhaps pre-reading guide or starting focus for RWS spreads. All types of oracle pulls work fine, but I wouldn't use this exclusively, without the main tarot cards. IMO, the most interesting cards in this set are the eponymic "Into the Wild", "The Three Hares", and "Hide and Seek". Everything else has a strange, ethereal feel that lacks the more nuanced comedy and cleverness shown in the RWS reinterpretations. In cases such as this, I would turn to alternatives, like a beloved, classic non sequitur (Edward Gorey's "Fantod Pack") for more substance, however ironic. Nevertheless, the beautifully designed ITW whole works best as such, and should last for many years to come!
