The I am not a doll tarot is a whimsical Indie Tarot Deck designed to help you reclaim your personal power. Grounded in the familiar Rider-Waite-Smith tradition, it offers a welcoming path for beginners and a fresh perspective for seasoned collectors. The artwork features beautifully illustrated puppets with visible wooden joints and mechanical limbs—a profound reminder that we are animated by spirit, not merely static objects. The imagery is intentionally fun and clever, designed to make you smile while holding the depth required for serious readings.

These cards are crafted to hold your energy beautifully. Printed on sturdy and luxurious 350gsm premium cardstock, the velvety matte finish ensures incredibly smooth shuffling. Mesmerizing holographic silver edges catch the light, adding a spark of magic to your hands.

The art is beautiful. As a beginner I appreciate the images on all cards. Pisces is misspelled on the back of the cards and there are grammar issues in the booklet. The book is also missing the meaning for the additional moon card in the deck. Despite that I still love them but that’s why I gave 4 stars.

I absolutely love this deck. It’s adorable, quirky, unique, cute but with a pleasant weirdness at the same time. I don’t think the image on the box does it justice, as far as first impressions go. The deck itself has to be seen in person to really appreciate the quality of artwork, as well as the quality of the deck. I actually bought a spare, I love it so much.
