Brief Introduction

Looking for a reading practice that connects your love of Chinese stories with time for yourself? Banquet at the Jade Pool Tarot is an Indie Tarot Deck that brings Chinese mythology and traditional painting aesthetics to your Tarot Reading practice.

Flowing robes, curling clouds, and richly illustrated figures give the cards the feeling of scenes from an old storybook. Muted peach, blue, and earthy tones invite a closer look, while the decorated card backs add another detail to enjoy between readings. Linen texture adds a lightly woven feel, while gilded edges catch the light. The included Tarot Deck Box keeps the artwork together, and a Chinese guidebook offers context for exploring the deck's symbolism.

Both the card text and the guidebook are in Chinese only. This deck is not recommended for beginners: it is best suited to experienced readers who can read Chinese and have an interest in Chinese mythology and cultural references. Familiarity with tarot gives you a starting point, while the imagery invites further study.

For the right reader, it offers a thoughtful companion for revisiting familiar stories, making room for personal reflection, and finding gentle guidance in your daily practice.
